The Short Type Super High Torque motor is for V3 gearboxes that need to pull a heavier spring without stalling. If you're running an M120 or M130 in an AK, SG550, or any V3 platform, a standard speed motor will struggle through the cycle and burn up the wiring. This one is built to handle that load.

Short Type means it fits the right grip. V3 gearboxes use a short-axis motor — the pinion sits closer to the mounting flange. A long type won't seat in the same space. This is the correct form factor for AK-style builds, SIG platforms, and most V3 internals. If your gearbox takes a short motor, this is what you order.

35,000 RPM under load. That's the rated speed with a heavy spring in the box. High-torque motors trade raw RPS for mechanical advantage, so you get reliable cycling with a 16:1 or 18:1 gear set rather than stalling at the piston. You won't match the burst rates of a speed motor on a light spring, but you also won't cook your battery or strip your gears.

Metal build. The housing and internal components are metal, not plastic. That's the durability difference on a high-current setup. Heat and vibration wear down cheap plastics fast; metal holds its shape and keeps the pinion aligned.

Before you install. You'll need to set the pinion depth correctly — too high strips teeth, too low causes whining and slippage. The motor comes bare, so you're responsible for shimming the gears and checking the angle of engagement. If your gearbox doesn't already have a MOSFET, install one first. A high-torque motor on a heavy spring draws serious current, and you don't want that running through mechanical trigger contacts.

What it's not for. This is not a speed upgrade. If you're chasing maximum RPS on a light M90 spring, a high-torque motor will actually slow you down. It's also not for V2 gearboxes — those take long-type motors. This is a V3-only, torque-first solution for players who are running heavy springs and need the internals to keep up.
