The Lonex Enhanced Gear Set replaces the stock gears in your V2 or V3 gearbox with precision-machined steel components designed for maximum rate of fire. Where a standard 18:1 gear set prioritizes reliability across spring weights, this super high-speed ratio sacrifices mechanical advantage to shave milliseconds off your trigger-to-shot cycle. If you're chasing the fastest semi-auto response on a light spring, this is the upgrade.
What changes when you install it. The sector, spur, and bevel gears all work together to spin the motor's output faster per trigger pull. On a 7.4V LiPO with a stock or slightly upgraded spring, you'll notice crisper bursts and tighter shot grouping in full-auto. The trade-off is that a super-speed set struggles with heavy springs—pulling an M120 or M130 through this gearbox is how you stall a motor or strip teeth. Match the gear ratio to your spring weight, not the other way around.
Steel construction and fit. Each gear is machined from high-density steel, which handles the stress of rapid cycling better than cast aluminum or polymer alternatives. The set includes the bevel, spur, and sector gears needed for a complete swap, and it fits most Tokyo Marui-compatible V2 and V3 gearbox shells. V2 covers M4, MP5, G3, and similar platforms; V3 covers AK, G36, SIG, and AUG builds. If your gearbox is proprietary or a hybrid shell, check compatibility before ordering.
What you'll need to do it right. Gear replacement means opening the gearbox, which requires basic hand tools and a clean workspace. Once the new gears are seated, shimming is non-negotiable—improper clearance creates whine, wear, and eventual failure. If you're running 11.1V or pushing high RPS, pair this with a MOSFET to protect your trigger contacts. The stock contacts weren't built for the current draw that comes with fast cycling.
Before you buy. This is not a "install and forget" part. Super-speed gears amplify every other weakness in your build: bad shimming, weak air seal, or a mismatched spring will show up immediately. If your goal is reliability over raw speed, a standard or torque-oriented set is the safer choice. If you want the fastest trigger response and you're willing to tune around it, this set delivers.
