Face and ears are the parts most exposed in close-quarters play. The Tactical Elite mask from Sentinel Gears is built to take the impact there.
A steel grille forms the front, which is what absorbs direct hits from close-range BB impacts and deflections. 1000D nylon covers the exposed edges and where the mask sits against your face — it's the same heavy-duty, abrasion-resistant material used on tactical backpacks, so it holds up to repeated use without the hot spots you get from thinner fabrics.
This is a half-face design, which means it protects your cheeks and ears while leaving the top portion of your face open. That's intentional — it lets you layer goggles on top without the two pieces fighting for the same space, and keeps your field of view clear. It's not a substitute for eye protection, but the coverage underneath it.
Black throughout. The mask ships on its own, and Sentinel Gears backs it with a 30-day return and warranty.
