Submachine guns (SMGs) are similar to AEGs is many ways. SMGs offer full-auto shooting, plastic or metal construction, and are designed for close quarters gameplay. SMGs are smaller than the typical AEG which makes them easier to carry around and manuver. SMGs also have a shorter barrel, making them slightly less accurate at long distances.
