The UK Arms Compact is what you reach for when the field is closed, the battery is dead, or you just want a sidearm that doesn't ask for anything. No gas, no batteries, no maintenance beyond wiping down the barrel. You rack the slide, pull the trigger, and it fires. That's it.
What the numbers mean. Rated 234 FPS on 0.12g BBs. That puts it squarely in CQB territory — indoor fields often run 300–350 FPS caps, and this sits comfortably under that. It's also light enough that you can carry it as a backup without penalising your main loadout. The trade-off is range: expect solid performance to about 75–100 feet, and don't plan on trading shots with anyone running a field AEG.
Build and handling. Metal slide with rear serrations, polymer grip frame. The metal adds weight and a more realistic feel compared to all-polymer trainers, and it holds up better to repeated racking. The grip is ergonomic enough for extended dry-fire practice.
What's in the box. The pistol, one 16-round spring magazine, and a small bag of 0.12g BBs. That starter bag is enough to verify function at home, but you'll want your own supply for any real session. The magazine is spring-fed and silent — no winding, no rattling.
What this is not for. This is a spring pistol, not a gas blowback. You rack the slide for every shot — no semi-auto, no blowback action, no realistic recoil. If you want the manual of arms or plan to skirmish regularly, look at a GBB or AEG instead. This is for dry-fire practice, CQB backup, film props, or when you want something that works in freezing weather without special care.
Before you buy. The 0.12g BBs that come with it are light and not ideal for outdoor play — they're for function-checking and indoor use. For anything outside, grab 0.20g or heavier and expect the FPS to drop. Also, spring pistols don't have a MOSFET or electronics to protect, but the spring does wear. After a few thousand rounds you may notice a drop in velocity, and replacing the internal spring is straightforward if you're handy with a screwdriver.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
