The UK Arms G38T is a no-frills spring 1911 designed for three specific jobs: indoor CQB where fields cap at 200 FPS, training drills where you want the manual of arms without gas costs, and prop work where realism matters more than range. At 210 FPS on 0.12g BBs, it sits below most outdoor field limits. You rack the slide before every shot—there is no semi-auto, no blowback, just a straightforward spring mechanism that keeps running as long as the spring holds tension.
Internals you cannot upgrade. The gearbox is a proprietary spring layout with no aftermarket support. This is not a platform you tune; it is a platform you use until it wears out and replace. The metal spring inside the slide is the only moving part that matters, and it is not designed to be swapped for a heavier version. If you want adjustable velocity or upgrade potential, this is not the pistol for you.
Externals that feel real. The slide is full metal with front and rear serrations that actually grip your hand when you rack. The grip frame and magazine body are polymer, which keeps weight down and cost lower. The 1911 ergonomics are genuine—thumb safety, grip angle, and trigger reach all match the original proportions. An integrated Picatinny rail under the barrel accepts compact lights or lasers, though at this velocity the gun is more often used without attachments.
What comes in the box. Unlike most airsoft guns that ship empty, this one includes a starter bag of 0.12g BBs and a 15-round spring magazine. You can open the case and shoot immediately. The magazine is single-stack and spring-fed, so there is no winding and no rattling, but capacity is limited compared to gas or AEG mags.
Before you buy. This is not a field gun. It will not clear outdoor limits and has almost no effective range beyond 30 feet. It is also a single-shot only—pull the trigger, rack the slide, repeat. If you want automatic fire, gas blowback recoil, or a sidearm you can tune, look at a GBB 1911 or an electric compact instead. For what it is—a cheap, reliable, low-power spring pistol—it does the job.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
