The UK Arms G1 is a spring-powered compact pistol built for a specific niche: when you need something that fits in a pocket, works in any weather, and doesn't require batteries or gas. At 5.5 inches long, it's the kind of sidearm you keep in a bag for backyard plinking, CQB backup, or just testing the fundamentals without the cost and complexity of a gas blowback or AEG.
How it works. This is a manual spring pistol. You rack the slide before each shot, which cocks the internal spring and chambers a BB from the 7-round magazine. Pulling the trigger releases that spring to fire a single 6mm BB. After each shot, you manually cycle the slide again to chamber the next round. That single-shot operation is the trade-off for simplicity: no charging, no gas fills, no cold-weather performance drop.
Velocity and use case. Rated 210–220 FPS on 0.12g BBs. That's well below typical outdoor field limits, which makes this a CQB and indoor-range tool. It's also a reasonable choice for backyard target work where you don't want to worry about over-penetration or high-energy rounds. For serious skirmishing, a gas blowback or AEG will give you full-auto fire and higher velocity, but this is the kind of pistol you grab when you just want to shoot some rounds without setup.
Externals. The frame and slide are metal, the grip panels are polymer, and the overall weight keeps it light for its size. The 7-round magazine matches the compact form factor. The pink finish is a distinct look — this isn't a tactical black sidearm, and it's marketed as a fun, eye-catching option rather than a serious combat replica.
What you need to know. This is a spring pistol, not a GBB or AEG. It won't accept aftermarket hop-up buckings, inner barrels, or gearbox parts — the internals are proprietary and not designed for upgrades. If you're looking for a customizable platform or semi-auto fire, a gas blowback or electric compact pistol is the better choice. For the price, it's a straightforward single-shot sidearm for target practice, training drills, or as a low-cost secondary.
Includes the pistol and one 7-round magazine. BBs are not included.
