The T4E TR 50 Gen 2 is Umarex's .50 caliber paintball revolver built for training and simulation work where you need something that feels like a sidearm but delivers higher impact than standard airsoft. This isn't an airsoft gun—it fires .50 caliber paintballs and training rounds, not 6mm plastic BBs. That distinction matters for field rules, safety requirements, and what you can actually use it for.
How the power system works. The revolver is rated at 380 FPS, which sits in a velocity band that works for many training scenarios and low-impact paintball fields, though you'll need to verify local rules—some venues treat .50 caliber markers differently than standard paintball guns or airsoft AEGs.
The cylinder system. Comes with one cylinder included, and the revolver accepts standard .50 caliber magazines. Each magazine holds 6 rounds, so you're looking at roughly one trigger pull per shot and a reload every six shots. That's not a bug—it's the trade-off for a revolver platform. If you're planning extended skirmishes, budget for extra cylinders and magazines upfront.
Externals and accessory mounting. Dual Picatinny rails run along the frame, giving you full freedom to add optics, lights, or lasers. It's sized like a large-frame revolver, so expect a heavier carry than a typical airsoft pistol.
Before you buy. This is a training and simulation tool, not a primary airsoft rifle. It won't trade shots at distance with an AEG, and many airsoft fields won't allow it at all since it doesn't fire 6mm BBs. Check your venue's rules on .50 caliber markers before you show up. The package includes the revolver, one cylinder, and the manual—nothing else.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
