WE Tech Hi-Capa 5.1 Hyper Speed Airsoft Full Auto Gas Blowback Pistol w/ Threaded Barrel

Another WE Tech Hi-Capa 5.1 design, this Hyper Speed Airsoft Full Auto Gas Blowback Pistol is geared towards tactical-minded users instead of competition-style 1911s. It still has several lightning slots cut into the slide to expose sections of the barrel. These cuts also cool the real weapon, but they’re primarily for aesthetic purposes on this airsoft replica. 

This replica is lighter than an actual 1911 as the frame and slide are both made of aluminum.  The threaded muzzle can accept mock suppressors for a “tacticool” look. The tip is orange for legal reasons, as airsoft guns in the U.S. must have it.

WE Tech included target-style iron sights on this pistol, and they work great within the weapon’s effective range. The rear sight is also adjustable, though the front blade is fixed. The pistol has a skeletonized three-hole light pull trigger for the best close-quarters shooting. Even though the hammer isn’t cocked, it doesn’t take much force to fire a round.

Flashlights and laser pointer sights go to the bottom rail, which is a standard Picatinny pistol rail. An ambidextrous safety catch and fire selector are mounted right under the slide, and the beavertail grip safety also works. Note that this arrangement makes the handgun hard to fire when not gripped properly.
