The Hi-Capa is a competition pistol for one specific reason: full-auto engagements where the question isn't who shoots fastest, but who empties their magazine last. This WE-Tech IREX model is tuned for that scenario. It fires semi and full auto, the full-auto mode pulls from a 30-round double-stack, and it eats every Hi-Capa magazine you can find.
The platform. This is a KJW/WE-Tech generation Hi-Capa on the Tokyo Marui-compatible footprint. The Hi-Capa platform has one of the broadest parts ecosystems in airsoft — mags, slides, internals, you name it. This IREX model targets competition players with its full-auto capability. It's built for the field, not the display case.
Firing modes and magazine reality. Semi-auto works like any GBB Hi-Capa. Full-auto throws every round you pull the trigger on, which means a 30-round magazine goes away fast if you don't watch the trigger finger. The magazine is a 30-round double-stack, and it's compatible with the broader KJW/WE/Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa ecosystem — M&P pattern magazines fit. That means spares are cheap and everywhere, which is genuinely important on a gun that drinks magazines in full-auto mode. Plan on picking up a couple extras.
Velocity is CQB-bred. 300–330 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That's comfortably inside indoor and CQB field limits where full-auto pistols live, and it's a number you won't need to worry about at the chrono station for most close-quarters venues. As always, chrono with your own BBs before your first game. Ambient temperature and gas pressure shift the number, and this is a gas gun.
What's in the box that matters. The gun, a 30-round magazine, a can of green gas, a bag of BBs, and a manual. This is a green gas blowback, so you'll need gas and BBs continuously. The included consumables get you to the field and through your first few games.
Hop-up. The adjustable hop-up is standard KJW/WE design, and it holds its setting. The stock bucking on these is nothing special — if accuracy bothers you after a break-in period, a stiffer bucking and a quality nub are a cheap first upgrade that makes a noticeable difference.
Before you buy. This pistol is not Canada-compliant. If you're ordering from Canada, this won't ship. The 6-inch frame is short enough to draw quickly and keep in a holster, but it's a grip, not a pocket piece. If you're after something concealable, look elsewhere.
This is a CQB tool in a 9mm magazine. If you're playing open-field skirmish where a DMR or AEG owns the engagement distance, this isn't what you want. For tight lanes, building clearances, and full-auto brawls where the first person to run dry loses, it's a solid pick with the spare-mag ecosystem to back it up.
