The black WellFire M40A5 is a bolt-action spring airsoft sniper rifle that measures 47 inches long and weighs an agile 6.3 pounds. Built with a streamlined ABS polymer stock, it features a heavy-duty metal receiver, a full-metal outer barrel, a metal bolt handle, and a manual receiver safety switch. The airsoft gun operates on a single-shot mechanical action, feeding from a 26-round drop-free magazine and shooting between 420 and 460 FPS with standard 0.20g BBs. The box includes the rifle, one magazine, a magnifying 3-9x40 scope with mounting rings, and a user manual.

Internally, this rifle runs on a proprietary design that lacks a standard adjustable hop-up unit. Because of these custom dimensions, regular aftermarket upgrades made for Tokyo Marui VSR-10 or Type 96 systems will not drop in. To improve downrange accuracy, a custom-fitted precision tightbore steel inner barrel can be utilized to help stabilize shot groups. If stronger power springs are installed later on to increase velocity, replacing the stock components with reinforced steel aftermarket trigger sears is highly recommended to handle the extra mechanical wear. For the straightest flight path and most consistent shots, running premium 0.28g or 0.30g heavyweight match BBs yields the best performance.
