WellFire's MK96 AWP is a spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifle in OD Green, built on the Maruzen Type 96 platform. It fires 6mm BBs at 400–420 FPS using 0.20g weight, with an adjustable hop-up to tune trajectory for different BB weights. The rifle measures 42.5 inches long and weighs 6.75 pounds, constructed with an aluminum outer barrel and polymer stock. It comes complete with a 3–9x40mm scope, mounting rings, adjustable metal bipod, tactical sling, 40-round magazine, speedloader, cleaning rod, and assembly tools.

The Type 96 platform uses different internal dimensions than the more common VSR-10, so standard VSR-10 upgrade parts will not fit without modification. For outdoor play, heavier BBs like 0.30g or 0.32g help maintain accuracy at this velocity range since lighter BBs suffer more from wind drift.
