Your AK buffer tube adds weight and length. The 5KU PT-1 replaces it with an aluminum side-folding stock that cuts your carry profile to roughly 8.3 inches. If your field has tight vehicle lanes, you travel to events, or you just prefer an AK that does not stick out behind you, this is the upgrade that solves it.

How the fold works. A pivot at the stock's base swings the whole assembly laterally, folding it flush along the right side of the receiver. The stock locks in both extended and folded positions, and you can fire from either configuration — though the folded position shifts cheek weld, so practice before game day.

Compatibility. Built for CYMA, LCT, and GHK AK-series receivers. That covers the most common AK AEGs on the market. If your AK uses a proprietary buffer tube from a different manufacturer, check compatibility before buying. The included hardware kit has the parts you need for install.

Weight and build. Aluminum construction, 1 lb 6 oz total. Ships in black with an extra rubber buttpad included if the factory one wears out or you want a different feel.

Before you buy. This is a stock replacement, not an add-on. You remove your existing buffer tube and install the PT-1 in its place. Basic AK teardown skills are assumed. If your gun has a battery housed in the buffer tube, you will need to relocate it.
