Your AK takes up too much trunk space. A fixed stock makes the rifle as long as the barrel and buffer tube allow, and a telescoping stock doesn't collapse nearly as much as it extends. A side-folding stock brings the whole package down to something that fits under a seat.
The PT-1 is 5KU's side-folding stock built specifically for E&L AK platforms. Not all AK stocks are interchangeable — E&L uses its own buffer tube and mounting interface, so a stock cut for KWA, Tokyo Marui, or Specna won't bolt on. This one is.
How it folds. The stock pivots to the side and locks alongside the receiver, giving you a collapsed length of 8.3 inches. That fold is for transport and storage, not shooting — you deploy it before engaging. Aluminum construction at 1.3 lbs, so it's solid without adding a lot of dead weight at the rear. The tan finish matches FDE colorways common on modern AK builds. Ships with the stock and a narrow buttpad.
