Airsoft C5 Tactical Communication Headset w/ Noise Reduction For Helmets, Black

This is a noise-reducing headset you strap to your helmet so you can talk to your squad without shouting or cranking your radio up to 11. A boom mic does the picking-up work, positioned where your mouth is, while the ear cups cut out wind and ambient noise but let your voice through clean enough for the radio to transmit clearly. That noise-reduction part is what separates a proper tactical headset from a cheap earbud rig — on a loud field, cheap gear makes you sound like you’re underwater, and nobody hears your callouts.

It mounts directly to your helmet rather than sitting on your ears independently, which keeps it from shifting when you’re sliding into cover or working tight CQB lanes. The foam earpads are replaceable in the real world, and if you run a handheld radio or a team comms intercom, this is the pickup-and-wear accessory that makes it work. You still need the radio itself — this is the mic-and-earpiece half of the system.

Nylon 35 fibre construction keeps the weight down while the thing holds up to the abuse of repeated helmet mounting and take-down.
