Team comms on an airsoft field are a noise problem. BBs ping off surfaces, players shout, paintball splats and wind cuts through the chatter. You can buy an expensive radio, but if you can't hear what your team is saying over the din, the radio is just a brick. The C5 exists to solve that: it's a headset built to bring the radio mic to your mouth and the earpieces to your ears without fighting your helmet or your eyewear.

Noise reduction that matters. The earpieces provide enough isolation to keep ambient noise down and your radio's voice audible, which is the difference between a clear comms setup and one where you spend the game guessing what your team's saying. This isn't active noise cancellation — it's passive acoustic isolation, and it does exactly what airfield comms require. It keeps the volume down and the signal up.

Helmet integration. The headband sits across the top of your helmet and the earpieces line up with your ears. It works on the common rail shapes, but if your helmet has a weird profile or wide brim, test the fit before your first game.

Comfort and weight. Nylon 35 fibre keeps the headset light, and the earpads are soft enough for extended wear without trapping too much heat. The headband distributes pressure across the top of the head rather than clamping down on the sides, which is the difference between noticing the headset and forgetting it's there halfway through the day.

Connection. The right earpiece carries the audio output, so any walkie-talkie with a compatible mic/speaker or a wireless radio transmitter system plugs right in. You already have the radio; you don't need to buy a separate comms unit.

What it is. A communications headset. It connects to a radio you provide, and it does one thing well: makes that radio audible over a noisy field. It doesn't transmit, it doesn't record, and it's not a standalone device.
