Airsoft C5 Tactical Communication Headset w/ Noise Reduction, OD Green

The C5 is a tactical communication headset in OD green. It does one thing and does it well: keeps you in contact with your team without forcing you to take your mouthpiece off or shout over a running engine. A boom mic picks up your voice, the earpiece delivers audio through field noise, and the headset uses the noise reduction built into its earpads to make comms legible over game chaos. Nylon 35 fibre, simple setup, comfortable enough for a long session.

How it works. The C5 relies on passive noise reduction — the earpads seal around your ear and block out the worst of the background chaos, making it easier to hear your comms without cranking the volume. The mic boom positions at the corner of your mouth so your voice carries cleanly regardless of what else is going on around you. It's the same basic setup used in real tactical comms, just simplified for airsoft where you're calling kills and coordinating pushes through a cheap radio, not running a full comms network.

What you need. The headset connects through an audio jack — your radio and PTT cable are separate. Make sure you have a compatible push-to-talk device before game day, and a spare cable in your kit if the stock one gets caught in a door.
