If you run a single-tube night vision rig and need it on your helmet without buying a full mount assembly, the L4G69 does exactly that. It's a simple nylon bracket designed to mount a PVS-14–style monocular to a compatible helmet rail.
The clamp design is straightforward, letting you mount and adjust the rig quickly. Flipping the goggles up or taking them off doesn't require touching the mount itself. That's the kind of thing you appreciate the first time you need to look around a room in mixed light and don't want to wrestle with your rig.
The matte tan finish isn't going to win any purity contests with black-clad milsim crews, but it's a real option for those who run tan or coyote throughout their loadout. Nylon keeps it light at about 0.18 lbs, and it adds negligible weight or bulk to your helmet.
Compatibility covers the usual suspects — PVS-14, PVS-31, and similar single-tube designs — but not every helmet rail is the same shape or width. Check your helmet's mounting interface before you rely on it. It does what it's supposed to do without fuss.
