You want your rifle to run suppressed for a milsim event, then go back to stock length for the next skirmish. The QD SOCOM 762-RC is the piece that lets you switch between profiles without permanently modifying anything.

Quick detach that actually holds zero. The fast-attach ratchet mount clicks onto the barrel and locks in place, so you can install or remove the whole unit in seconds. Pull it off, go back to your stock flash hider, put it back on later and your muzzle is in the same position. Hop-up doesn't need re-dialling every time you swap it.

What's what. The body is an aluminum mock suppressor in Desert Tan — it changes how the rifle looks and adds 8.3 inches of length, not any acoustic effect. At the muzzle end is a steel 4-prong flash hider. It's there for the aggressive profile and it adds a bit of muzzle weight, which some players find steadies their aim.

Finish and durability. The desert tan oxidized coating takes the shine off compared to a raw anodized finish and handles mud, rain, and range debris without worrying. The steel flash hider underneath is the hard part that meets accidental brush contact first.

Fits the standard threads. Cuts for 14mm CCW, which is on almost every airsoft rifle. Screw it on, tighten it down with a barrel wrench, and you're running it.

Before you buy. Eight and a third inches of extra length moves the center of gravity forward. On a carbine it's noticeable. If you run this on a full-length rifle, it's less of an issue.
