The Atlas AB-8 is an aftermarket stock for players who don't run a traditional buffer tube — AK builds using a 1913 Picatinny rear adapter, AEGs with that mounting system, or any platform that uses a Picatinny stock rail instead of a tube. Built from aluminum alloy, it gives you a lightweight, rigid buttstock in a compact 7.8-inch footprint.

The fold. It folds to the side via a pivot mechanism on the receiver end, which collapses the overall profile and lets you slip a longer rifle into a tighter bag or navigate tight CQB lanes without the stock poking your teammate. Set it flat and it makes a solid platform for a tight shoulder weld.

Construction. Aluminum alloy makes it lighter than steel equivalents while keeping things rigid enough for consistent shootability. Black finish matches most build palettes. The Weaver/Picatinny rail section on the rear face means you can mount a monopod or other Picatinny accessory if that's your thing.

Compatibility. This stock is designed for 1913 Picatinny stock rail mounts specifically. If your rifle already has a Picatinny rear rail, it bolts right on. Rear adapters and AK platform adapters are not included — if your rifle uses a buffer tube, M-lok mount, or proprietary system, you'll need the appropriate adapter for your platform.

Before you buy. 7.8 inches is on the shorter end, which is great for maneuverability but means the rifle sits a touch closer to your shoulder compared to full-length CTR-style stocks. That trade-off is the point, but worth knowing if you're used to longer extensions. The side-folding latch is the kind of thing you should cycle a few times at home before game day.

This is an upgrade part — it does not include your rifle, a rear adapter, or any mounting hardware beyond what comes with the stock itself.
