Gas blowback pistols have a real problem: the slide is already working hard to cycle, and muzzle climb adds to the recovery time between shots. The Atlas Custom Works stubby compensator redirects gas upward and outward to counteract that climb, letting you stay on target for faster follow-ups without adding significant length to an already compact platform.
How the gas redirection works. Internal ports vent gas away from the barrel axis when you fire, which reduces the upward torque that makes the muzzle climb. On a G Series GBB pistol, that means less slide recovery time and better control during rapid strings. The stubby design keeps the overall length close to stock, so you don't sacrifice concealment or holster compatibility.
Externals. Machined from aluminum, which holds threads better than polymer and won't deform under the heat of a long string like cheaper zinc alloys might. The black finish matches standard GBB pistol frames. Threads onto 14mm CCW barrels—the standard for most GLOCK-style GBB pistols. If your pistol came with a fixed barrel or a different thread pitch, you'll need an adapter or a replacement barrel first.
What's in the box. Just the compensator. No installation tools, no washers, no thread-patch tape. You'll need a crowfoot wrench or similar to tighten it properly without marring the finish.
What it's not for. This is a compensator, not a suppressor. It won't quiet the report or hide the muzzle flash. It also won't fix poor fundamentals or compensate for a poorly tuned pistol. It's a tool for players who already know how to shoot and want to shave fractions off their recovery time.
