The Atlas Custom Works X-OUT "M" compensator addresses both by redirecting gas upward and sideways as the round leaves the barrel, which keeps the sights on target for faster follow-up shots. It's designed specifically for G Series GBB pistols—the G17, G19, G26 family—so if you're running one of those, this fits without modification.

How it attaches. The compensator threads onto a 14mm CCW (negative) barrel. That's the standard airsoft thread pattern, so it screws on directly to most replica Glocks without needing an adapter. Tighten it finger-tight, give it a quarter-turn with a wrench if needed, and you're done. No thread protector is included, so if you plan to swap muzzle devices often, keep your original one or pick up a thread protector separately.

Material and weight. It's machined from aluminum, which is the right call for a GBB pistol. You want something durable enough to handle repeated gas pulses, but light enough that it doesn't make the muzzle heavy and throw off your point of balance. Aluminum delivers that without adding noticeable weight to an already light platform.

What it does and what it doesn't. This is a compensator, not a suppressor. It will reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip, but it will not make your pistol quieter. In fact, you may hear it louder as gas is directed outward. If your goal is noise reduction, look at a compensator with an integrated suppressor or a separate can.

Before you buy. Make sure your barrel is exposed and threaded. Many GBB pistols ship with a fixed barrel or a shroud that covers the threads. If you can't see the threads or the barrel is integral to the slide, this won't fit without a barrel replacement. Also verify your thread direction—14mm CCW is standard for airsoft, but real steel Glocks use 14mm CW (positive), and they are not interchangeable.
