The AKS-74U's compact profile is its strength and its mounting-limitation: the classic receiver leaves almost no room above the gas block for optics. This rail fixes that by extending from the rear sight block, giving you a proper Picatinny platform for red dots, low-power scopes, and other top-rail accessories.
Built from aluminum alloy. It bolts to the rear sight block on most AKS-74U series AEG rifles, so you're not cutting the receiver or losing the iron sight base. The elongated design means you have actual rail space to work with instead of the two or three slots stock receivers provide.
Atlas Custom Works is the manufacturer. The rail is Weaver/Picatinny compatible, so any standard clamp-on optic fits. Black finish. Sold individually.
Before you buy: compatibility varies by receiver profile and gas block design. Check that your specific AKS-74U model has the sight block this mounts to, especially if you're running a non-standard handguard or an aftermarket receiver set.
