If you run a Marui Hi-Capa, you know the stock slide is light. Light slides cycle fast, which can feel twitchy, and they don't give much recoil impulse. The Atlas Custom Works Matrix Kit adds mass and presence without turning your pistol into a brick.

What you're getting. This is a CNC aluminum slide set with a matching hammer housing and recoil spring guide. Everything is machined to fit Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa frames and compatible clones, so you're not hunting for custom fitments or machining work.

Weight and balance. At 440g, the slide assembly adds noticeable mass over the polymer original. That extra weight slows the slide's travel, which tends to smooth out the recoil impulse and can improve reliability with lighter loads. It also shifts the balance point forward, which some shooters prefer for follow-up shots. If you're chasing the lightest possible carry weight, this is not the upgrade for you.

Installation and fit. The kit replaces the stock slide, hammer housing, and recoil spring guide as a set. Installation is straightforward if you're comfortable field-stripping a Hi-Capa, but expect to break in the new parts over the first few hundred rounds. Aluminum-on-aluminum contact will wear in, and the slide may feel stiff until it settles.

What this is not. This is a GBB pistol upgrade. It does not fit AEGs, and it will not convert a stock Hi-Capa to compete with full-frame 1911s in power or reliability. It's an external upgrade that changes the feel and appearance of your existing platform.
