The Hi-Capa platform is popular for a reason: it's the most upgradeable GBB pistol in airsoft. But the factory slide is polymer, and after a few hundred rounds of hard use, the aesthetics start showing it. The Atlas Custom Works Matrix Kit swaps the externals for CNC aluminum, which means the slide, hammer housing, and recoil spring guide all carry the weight and feel of a real firearm.
What's in the kit. You get a full slide set, recoil spring guide, and hammer housing. Everything is CNC-machined aluminum. The Gray/Black anodized finish is purely cosmetic and does not indicate a performance rating or FPS band.
Weight and balance. At 440 grams, this adds substantial heft to your Hi-Capa. That's the trade: more realism and a steadier aim, but it's not going to feel like a duty carry pistol in the waistband. If you're running a two-gun setup (pistol as secondary), the extra weight is usually welcome. If you want something you can draw quickly and keep drawing, the polymer factory slide might be the better choice.
Installation and compatibility. This kit fits Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa Series pistols and compatible clones. You'll need basic hand tools to swap the internals, and some break-in time for the new metal parts to seat properly.
Before you buy. This is an external upgrade, not a performance boost. It won't make your pistol shoot flatter, faster, or more accurately. The value is in the realism, durability, and the ability to swap to different external configurations. If your goal is competition tuning, look at hop-up upgrades and barrel kits instead. If you want a Hi-Capa that looks and feels like a full-metal 1911, this is the path.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
