If you're running a Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa, you know the stock slide and frame are polymer. They work fine until they don't—cracks around the rail interface, worn slide stop lugs, or just the look of a budget pistol when you want something that feels like a real 1911. The Atlas Custom Works EX01 kit swaps those internals for CNC-machined aluminum, and that changes the whole feel of the gun.
What you're getting. This is a full slide and frame set in gray and black. The slide has precision-machined cutouts that shave weight down to about 0.66 lbs for the whole kit without compromising the structural integrity you need for reliable cycling. CNC aluminum means you're not dealing with the flex or potential stress cracks that come with polymer on a hard-use pistol. The frame accepts standard Hi-Capa internals, so you're not locked into proprietary parts down the line.
Where it fits. Built specifically for the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa GBBP series. If your pistol is a different platform—KSC, WE, or an aftermarket build—this won't fit. The Hi-Capa has a very specific rail geometry and slide dimensions, and ACW machined this to match TM's specs exactly.
What's in the box. Just the frame and slide kit. Your existing barrel, hop-up unit, slide stop, and all internal components transfer over. You'll need the usual Hi-Capa tools for disassembly and reassembly, and a little patience if you're not used to working on GBB pistols. Installation isn't plug-and-play in the sense that you can drop it in without some fitting—expect to check slide-to-frame clearance and make sure the rail interface seats properly.
Before you buy. This is an external upgrade, not a performance magic bullet. It won't fix a weak spring, a worn valve, or a poorly tuned hop-up. What it does is give you a more durable, more realistic platform to build on. If your goal is competition-grade reliability and you're already investing in internals, this is a solid foundation. If you just want a pistol that shoots straight out of the box, you're probably better off buying a complete gun.
