Atlas Custom Works CNC KAC MWS Ambi Magazine Catch, Black

The stock magazine catch on Tokyo Marui MWS platforms works, but it's not ambidextrous and the polymer can wear over time. This Atlas Custom Works catch replaces it with a CNC-milled aluminum KAC-style release that both left and right-handed shooters can operate.

What changes. The ambi design means your support hand thumb can drop the mag without repositioning the rifle. For a gas blowback where mag changes already cost more time than an AEG, shaving even half a second matters. The aluminum body is machined to match the original dimensions, so it drops into the MWS receiver without modification.

What you're getting. One magazine catch in black. Installation requires basic gunsmithing — you'll need to field-strip the lower receiver and swap the catch and its retaining hardware. If you're not comfortable doing that yourself, a local gunsmith can handle it.

This is a functional upgrade for players who want tighter controls on their MWS. It won't change velocity, range, or reliability, and it's not a cosmetic showpiece. It just makes mag changes faster and works the same whether you shoot left or right-handed.
