Atlas Custom Works CNC Aluminum Magazine Quick Release for GHK AK GBBR Series, Black

The stock AK magazine release works fine until you're trying to reload under pressure. That lever is small, and your gloved hand doesn't always find it fast. The Atlas Custom Works quick release is an extended plate that gives you a bigger target, so you can dump a mag and seat a fresh one without hunting for the button.

What you're getting. This is a CNC aluminum replacement for the factory polymer release. It's one piece, machined from a solid block, and it bolts in where the original lever sits. The extension makes the release easier to hit with a thumb or trigger finger, and the aluminum won't wear down the way cheap polymer can.

Fit and compatibility. It's made for the GHK AK GBBR series. That's it. If you're running a different AK platform — VFC, ICS, CYMA — this won't fit. Even within the GHK line, check your receiver before ordering. Some GHK variants use a slightly different pivot point, and this is designed for the standard GBBR layout.

Installation. You're swapping one lever for another, so you'll need the right size hex key or screwdriver depending on how your current release is mounted. Take the old one off, line up the new plate, and secure it. No permanent mods, no drilling. If you're not comfortable with that, a local tech can do it in five minutes.

What it doesn't do. This is a mechanical upgrade, not a magic fix. It won't make your reloads automatic, and it won't compensate for poor reload technique. It just removes one friction point. If your problem is mag selection or carrying enough spares, this won't solve that.
