Muzzle rise on a gas blowback rifle messes up your follow-up shots. A compensator is the cheap fix — redirect the wasted gas to push the barrel back down instead of letting it climb. The Atlas Custom Works Cookie Cutter (Type B) is a ported compensator that screws right onto any 14mm CCW threaded airsoft barrel.

What the cookie cutter design does. The body is drilled through with a grid of ports that vent gas upward and outward. That upward venting creates a downward reaction force, so the muzzle stays flatter during automatic fire. You'll notice it most on full-auto runs with a GBBR or an AEG with a heavy spring — the sight picture doesn't walk up the window as quickly, and you get your next shot on target faster. It's not magic, but it's one of the more noticeable upgrades for the price.

Fits the standard thread. 14mm CCW is the negative-thread standard on virtually every airsoft rifle — AEG, GBBR, HPA builds all share it. Thread it on with a barrel wrench or pliers with tape on the jaws, and it's ready. No adapters needed. If your barrel is 14mm CW (some AK-pattern builds use positive thread) or 11mm (common on pistols), you'll need a threaded adapter first.

Type B is one port pattern in the line. Atlas makes several Cookie Cutter variants, each with a different drilling layout. Type B is the specific pattern in this listing — if you're matching a loadout or prefer a different vent profile, check the other variants. They all share the same outer diameter and thread, so swapping between types is just unscrew one, screw on another.

Construction. Aluminum, black finish. Lighter than steel compensators and won't add noticeable length to a tight CQB build. The finish is scratch-resistant enough for game days, though dropping it on concrete or slamming it into a mag pouch will mar it eventually.

Before you buy. This is a muzzle device only — it does not regulate velocity, change gas efficiency, or affect trigger pull. It changes how the gas exits the barrel, which affects muzzle movement. If you're running a mock suppressor for aesthetics, this isn't that. It's a functional compensator with an open-port look.
