The plastic fire selector on most M4-series AEGs is the first thing that breaks. It cracks at the pivot, gets bumped out of semi-auto during a game, and feels like a toy compared to the rest of the build. Atlas Custom Works replaced it with a CNC aluminum flip switch that works the way real AR selectors do: three distinct positions with audible clicks, and the kind of positive detent that tells you safe is safe without looking.
How it works. A flip switch selector replaces the factory plastic toggle on the trigger group. You flip it up for safe, and down through semi-auto to full-auto, with a satisfying mechanical click at each stop. The flat contact surface makes it harder to accidentally shift modes when you're racking the charging handle or running through cover. Install is a direct swap into the V2 trigger assembly, and it ships with the mounting hardware you need.
Fit. Built for most M4/M16 series AEGs running a standard V2 gearbox. CNC aluminum throughout, finished in FDE. If your trigger group is a proprietary layout or an aftermarket unit with a non-standard selector cut, check compatibility before you buy.
Before you install. This is a V2 trigger upgrade, so you need basic gearbox tools to swap it in. Disconnect the battery before opening the receiver. If you're running a MOSFET, make sure the wiring harness has room to route once the new selector is in place.
