Recoil travels straight back, and a vertical grip gives your support hand something to push against instead of just a tube to wrap around. The Atlas Custom Works Type 2 ultralight vertical grip is CNC-machined aluminum, cut down from a solid block, so it's stiff under recoil without adding bulk. Black anodize all around.

Dual compatibility is the main thing: it mounts to M-LOK or KeyMod handguards, and ships with both hardware sets, so you can swap it between rails without sourcing extra screws or adaptors. Type 2 styling means a slightly angled profile rather than straight-down, which puts your hand in a more natural position while still giving you the vertical control needed for sustained full-auto fire.

Not for sling mounting — if you need a sling point, look at a dedicated sling mount or a dual-purpose vertical that has a QD cup or sling stud built in.
