As with any gas system, output shifts with temperature—colder weather drops velocity, and warmer conditions can push it higher. Chrono with your own BBs before your first game, and expect to run slightly heavier rounds like 0.28g or 0.30g to stay safely inside field limits while improving outdoor performance.
The lever action and internals. This is a gas-operated lever-action system, so the bolt doesn't cycle with each shot—you manually work the enlarged lever loop to chamber the next round.
