The Atlas Custom Works STI Style International 2011 MagBase replaces the stock baseplate on your Tokyo Marui or WE Hi-Capa magazine. It's a simple swap that adds weight at the bottom of the mag, which can help balance a top-heavy 2011 platform, and gives you a textured surface to hook your fingers on during reloads.
What the indexing points do. The raised ridges along the base give your thumb a place to grip when swapping mags under pressure. That matters more than it sounds when you're trying to keep your head down and your hands moving. A smooth aluminum base can be slick, especially with sweaty hands or gloves on.
Material and fit. Machined from 6061 aluminum, it weighs about an ounce. Light enough you won't notice it during a game, but the metal feels solid compared to polymer. The fit is cut for Tokyo Marui and WE Hi-Capa magazines, so it drops in without modification. If you're running other brands, check the spec sheet first—2011 mags aren't all the same dimensions.
The Texas design. The silhouette is etched into the face. Subtle enough that you don't need to advertise it, but visible if someone's looking. Silver finish matches most 2011 externals without standing out like colored anodize would.
Before you buy. This is just the baseplate. Your magazine isn't included, and neither are any tools for installation. You'll need a small flathead to pry off the old base and press the new one on. Five-minute job if you've done it before, a bit longer the first time. The old base can spring off with some force, so keep your fingers clear.
Compatible with TM/WE spec Hi-Capa magazines.
