The Hi-Capa is Tokyo Marui's competition pistol platform, and building one starts with choosing a frame. This Atlas Custom Works 3.9 Type 2 SV frame is the compact option for players who want a shorter grip and lighter carry without switching to a different platform. At 160mm, it's noticeably shorter than a full-size Hi-Capa frame, which changes how the pistol balances and fits in a holster.
What you get. The frame comes with a stainless steel sear, valve knocker, and pin set. You are not buying just a shell—you are getting the small internals that mate to it. That matters if you are doing a full build from parts or replacing a worn frame on an existing pistol.
CNC aluminum construction. This is machined from aluminum, not cast or polymer. It will be lighter than a steel frame and more rigid than the factory polymer one. It also means the fit depends on machining tolerances rather than molding, so expect a snugger assembly and possibly more break-in on the slide rails.
SV style. The SV designation refers to the shortened, compact profile. The grip angle and grip panel shape are tuned for faster draws and one-handed control, which is why competition shooters favor this form over the full-size frame.
Before you buy. This is a replacement frame for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa Series gas blowback pistols. It is not a complete gun—you will need a slide, barrel, hop-up, and all other internals to make it functional. Installation involves pinning and fitting; if you have not built a Hi-Capa before, budget for a professional gunsmith. The frame is sold in Gold, one of several colorways in the ACW line.
Atlas Custom Works is known in the Hi-Capa community for precision parts. This frame is a foundation build piece, not an out-of-the-box shooter.
