Fit and compatibility. Designed for the Colt 1911 with a 5-inch barrel and other 1911 variants in that size range. The molded cavity is sized for a standard 1911 frame—compact or commander-length barrels may be loose, and longer match barrels may not seat fully. Test your specific pistol before committing to a carry position.

Material. Military-grade polymer construction. Rigid enough to hold shape under load without cracking if dropped or exposed to moisture. Lighter than comparable leather or Kydex options.
