Cytac R-Defender Hard Shell Holster for Glock [G19, G23, G21], Black

The R-Defender is Cytac's take on a hard-shell holster that actually holds a pistol securely without the bulk of a duty rig. At 3.8 ounces and 120mm long, it's light enough for range days and compact enough to carry without announcing itself. The molded polymer shell locks the Glock in place during movement, then releases cleanly on the draw.

Fit and compatibility. This model fits the Glock 19, 23, and 32 across Gen 1 through Gen 4. That covers the most common compact and mid-size frames, including the .40 S&W variants (G23, G32). If your Glock is Gen 5 or a different frame size, this won't work—you need the matching SKU.

What you're getting. The package includes the holster only. No belt clip, no mounting hardware, no extra retention straps. Cytac sells those separately, or you can mount it to existing gear if you have the right interface. Check what your setup needs before ordering.

Material and durability. Built from law enforcement grade polymer, which means it's designed to hold its shape under repeated draws and re-holstering. The shell is rigid enough to maintain retention without flexing, but light enough that it doesn't add noticeable weight to your loadout. It's not meant to be a throwaway range item, and it's not overbuilt for duty use either.

Before you buy. Hard shell holsters don't adjust for different barrel lengths or optic cuts. If you run a compensated Glock or an optic-mounted slide, verify clearance before ordering. Also confirm your generation—Gen 4 has different grip texture and backstrap options than Gen 3, and the shell is molded to a specific profile.
