Real shotgun players know the feel and recoil of pumping. CO2-powered shotguns give you that blowback and the manual-of-arms at the field. The Golden Eagle M8873 is a pump-action shotgun with 3-shot and 6-shot fire modes, rated 320 FPS, and 30-round shells so you get a few pumps before needing to swap shells.

The firing modes. In 3-shot mode the M8873 fires three rounds before needing a pump. In 6-shot mode it fires six. Each trigger pull drops one round, and you pump between bursts. Once a shell is empty, you swap it for a fresh one. Rapid pumping between shots gets you through shells quickly, mimicking the aggression of real tactical shotgun play.

Velocity that works everywhere. Rated 320 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That's well below the typical outdoor cap of 380–400 FPS, well inside indoor limits, and it will clear every field you show up to without a spring conversation. The trade-off is range. A pump shotgun at this velocity is comfortable to about 80–100 ft with a good hop-up. Close-quarters, tight lanes, and short-MED fields are where this platform shines.

CO2 vs green gas. The M8873 uses 12 g CO2 cartridges, which run at higher pressure than green gas and maintain more consistent output in cold weather. You'll get fewer shots per CO2 cartridge than green gas shots per fill, but the shot-to-shot consistency is better and there's no propane-tank anxiety in the winter.

Externals. Metal and polymer construction puts it at 4 lbs — solid but not an anchor. The M4-style crane stock adjusts for different stock lengths. The mock heat shield carries a Weaver/Picatinny rail on top, so red dots and optics bolt on without modification. Black finish throughout.

It ships complete. The bundle includes the gun, shotgun shells, a bag of BBs, CO2 cartridges, and a manual. You are set for your first game. CO2 cartridges and shotgun shells are consumables and will need replacing. The BBs included will be a heavier weight than the 0.20g used for velocity ratings — expect the FPS number to drop somewhat in practice. Chrono with your own BBs before your first game.

Who should buy this. Players who want a realistic pump shotgun with blowback that runs out of the box. Collectors. Players who specifically want a shotgun loadout for milsim. If you are trying to win a field match with maximum RPS and minimum gas management, you may be happier with an AEG or HPA shotgun.
