Kizuna Works MKW Full Sized Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol, Metal/Cerakote Gray

The Kizuna Works MKW answers a specific need: a full-sized gas blowback pistol that prioritizes realistic handling over high-capacity convenience. At 182mm and roughly 1.5 pounds, it carries like a duty sidearm rather than a lightweight backup. The slide is aluminum alloy with a cerakote gray finish, paired with a fiber-reinforced polymer grip that keeps weight manageable without sacrificing the metal-on-metal slide sensation that GBB players want.

How the GBB trade-off plays out. This runs on green gas, so expect blowback recoil and a reciprocating bolt, but also expect output to vary with temperature and gas pressure. Indoor fields typically cap around 300 FPS on 0.20g. The semi-auto-only fire mode reinforces its role as a realistic sidearm, not a primary skirmish weapon.

Hop-up for consistency. The hop-up chamber applies pressure to the BB for backspin, which matters more for grouping than most visible upgrades. The 70.45mm inner barrel is standard for full-sized pistols, and the 6mm caliber confirms this is an airsoft platform firing plastic BBs, not metal pellets.

Externals built for use. The 26-round magazine is a low-capacity, realistic count—no winding required, but you'll want spares if you're running extended games. Gas magazines run more expensive than AEG mid-caps, and each fill gets you roughly that many shots before needing a refill.

Thread note. The 11mm positive (clockwise) threading is common on many GBB pistols, but it's not the 14mm negative standard most suppressors and tracers use. You'll need a simple adapter if you want to mount accessories. Don't assume your existing muzzle devices will fit without checking.

Before you buy. Green gas and magazines are sold separately—only the pistol and one magazine are in the box. GBBs don't need batteries or chargers, but they do need silicone oil for maintenance and consistent gas fills. This is a sidearm built for realism and training value, not for trading shots with a primary rifle across an open field. If you want a backup that feels like a real pistol and you're okay with the gas system's quirks, the MKW delivers that without cutting corners on the internals.
