The Kizuna Works MKW answers a straightforward question: what if your sidearm could take a beating and keep running? This is a full-sized gas blowback pistol designed for durability under repeated use. At roughly 700 grams, it has real heft, which is exactly what you want in a backup that needs to feel substantial in your hand.
How the GBB system works. The MKW runs on gas, so the slide reciprocates with every shot, cycling the action and simulating recoil. That realism is the trade: in cold weather, gas pressure drops and velocity will fall off faster than an electric pistol. You're also limited to semi-automatic fire—safe and semi only—so this is a sidearm for precise shots, not a run-and-gun weapon.
The hop-up and accuracy. The pistol features a hop-up chamber for backspin adjustment, which helps maintain consistent grouping at typical sidearm ranges—roughly 80 to 120 feet depending on your hop-up tuning and BB weight.
Externals and controls. The overall length of 182mm keeps it manageable for concealed carry or vehicle work.
The thread quirk. The muzzle is threaded 11mm positive (clockwise). Most airsoft suppressors and flash hiders use 14mm negative, so you'll need an adapter for standard muzzle devices. If you're planning to run a compensator or suppressor, budget for that extra piece.
What's in the box. The pistol ships with one 26-round gas magazine. That's a realistic capacity for milsim, but it also means you'll be reloading frequently in a skirmish. Plan on picking up two or three spares. Gas is not included, and this pistol requires a separate gas source—either green gas canisters or a refill system.
Before you buy. This is a full-sized sidearm, not a compact backup. If you want something that fits in a small holster or pocket, look at a compact or subcompact model instead. The 26-round capacity also means you're trading volume for realism—if you need a high-capacity primary, this isn't it. The MKW is for players who want a durable, realistic GBB for CQB, as a secondary, or for training where manual of arms matters more than magazine capacity.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
