The M130 is one step above stock on the spring ladder. In a standard V2 or V3 setup, it lands broadly around 360-380 FPS on 0.20g BBs — enough to clear most outdoor field limits without pushing into DMR territory. The M-rating is a rough guide, not a guarantee: the same spring in a different gearbox, with different air seal or barrel length, moves the number. Chrono with your own BBs before your first game.

What quenched means. This spring has gone through a heat-treatment process that hardens the steel and extends its life. Springs lose tension over time — the stronger the spring, the faster the fatigue — and a quenched spring holds its performance longer than a standard heat-treated one. It won't last forever under the constant compress-and-release cycle of a gearbox, but it outlasts the baseline option.

Japanese certified. The spring meets Japanese airsoft manufacturing standards for tensile strength and consistent winding. That matters because a spring that varies from one end to the other puts uneven load on the piston, which shows up as inconsistent velocity and stripped teeth.

Compatibility. The M130 fits most AEG rifles with a standard V2 or V3 gearbox. If your gun uses a V6, V7, or proprietary shell, check the spring dimensions before you buy — they are not interchangeable. Swapping a spring means splitting the gearbox, so budget time for a full rebuild. This is not a quick-change spring.

Before you buy. A heavier spring draws more current and puts more stress on the motor, gears, and battery. If you're stepping up from a stock M87 or M90, consider whether your motor can pull the extra load — a high-torque motor handles it comfortably; a stock speed motor may stall or overheat. A MOSFET and quality battery make the upgrade worthwhile; without them, you're asking the rest of the internals to carry a load they weren't built for.
