Combat shirts exist because plate carriers and body armour make regular shirts unbearable in anything above fifty degrees. You need something breathable against your skin and abrasion-resistant where the carrier rubs. This is Lancer Tactical's take on that problem — a simple two-material construction that does exactly one thing.
How the fabric works. The torso is 92% cotton with 8% spandex, knitted for stretch and comfort. It sits against your skin, breathes, and moves with you when you're reaching, crawling, or carrying gear. The sleeves are a different fabric entirely — 50/50 cotton-poly ripstop, which is tougher and holds up to more abuse. That's why it's called a combat shirt: soft body, tough arms.
Sizing note. This SKU is marked XXX Large / Large — Lancer Tactical's sizing can run variable between product lines, so check the size chart on their site before ordering if you're between sizes. The stretch torso is forgiving, but the sleeves and shoulders follow the cut of the garment, not the body, and they won't stretch to accommodate a broader frame.
What it's not. This is a shirt, not a plate carrier, not a layer meant to stop anything harder than a BB. It keeps heat and friction off your skin under gear. If you play in cool weather, layer it under a jacket. If you play in the heat, run it solo or under a plate carrier and you'll be comfortable all day.
