Lancer Tactical's High Performance Short Type motor is built for AK series AEGs, which take a short axis motor in the grip. It uses CNC aluminum, steel and carbon in the body, with copper and silver carrying the electrical path. Silver in the brushes and contacts lowers resistance compared to copper alone, which matters for a part that handles high current in short bursts. After fitting, set motor height through the grip base plate so the pinion meshes cleanly with the bevel gear: adjust by ear, since too loose sounds whiny and skips while too tight sounds strained and draws heavy current.
