Lancer Tactical L4 Airsoft Helmet Shroud w/ Lanyard, Black

Helmet shrouds are one of those things you don't notice until one breaks on the field and you're staring at a helmet with a bare mounting hole. The Lancer Tactical L4 Hybrid Shroud is the drop-in replacement — or an upgrade if you're still running the stock unit and it's looking tired. It's built from aluminum and polymer with a rubber base, which gives you something heavier-duty than the usual stamped-metal or all-plastic originals without adding much weight or cost.

The lanyard does the job it's supposed to. Rather than clipping NVGs to the helmet with a separate hook or clip, the shroud's integrated lanyard clamps between your device and the mount. That keeps the NVG from swinging or dropping if you go down hard — a real problem when you're moving fast in the dark or running a tight CQB build. You clip in, you're good.

It fits standard helmets. The L4 mates to 1-hole and 3-hole MICH/ACH-style helmets, which covers the vast majority of milsim and skirmish headgear on the field. If your helmet isn't one of those patterns, it won't work, but that's unusual these days.
