Lancer Tactical Multi-Purpose Shemagh Face Head Wrap, Brown/Black/Skulls

The shemagh is one of those things that starts as a style choice and stays in your loadout because it's genuinely useful. This one from Lancer Tactical is 100 percent cotton, 44 inches square, weighing 6 ounces, printed in a brown and black skull pattern.

Wrap it over head and face for sun and dust on a hot game day. Fold it lower and it becomes a neck gaiter for shoulder coverage and wind protection. Cotton breathes well when the field is baking and holds some warmth on colder weekends. It's the same headwear military units have carried for decades, adapted here with a print that fits an airsoft loadout.

There are a dozen ways to tie it, from a simple neck wrap to full face coverage, and the folding takes practice rather than time. You'll find a style that works in five minutes of trial at home. At game, it's there to protect your face from low-impact BB hits to the exposed skin and to keep the sun off your neck between engagements.

When you're done, it washes like a t-shirt and dries just as fast. 100 percent cotton is a good thing here — synthetic alternatives trap heat and smell after a half day in the sun.
