Lancer Tactical Ripstop Combat Pants, Medium, Ranger Green

The 50/50 cotton-poly ripstop is a fabric that makes sense for airsoft. It has the durability to handle crawls, scrapes, and drag through brush without the stiffness or heat of a 100% nylon pant, and it breaks in nicely over the first few games. The Lancer Tactical Ripstop is built on that fabric with reinforcement where the ground touches you most: 500D Cordura nylon over the knees, plus a set of EVA knee pads.

Knees that take the hit. The knee panels are 500D Cordura, so when you're setting up a hide in the weeds or dropping into a prone position, the fabric isn't tearing through. The included EVA pads slide into pockets on each leg. They're not the same as hard-knee inserts or built-in pads from a dedicated combat pant, but they take the edge off hard ground, and they're removable if you want to run them bare or swap in thicker pads from your own kit.

Fit you can actually adjust. The waist has belt loops and a drawstring inside the waistband for minor tweaks. The legs feature adjustable cuffs at the ankle, which is useful if you're running them over tall boots or want to keep them from catching on your boots' velcro during a sprint. There's also a slight gusset in the crotch and articulated knees that make full range of motion possible — you can drop to one knee or squat to reload without the fabric pulling.

Storage that doesn't bulk you up. You get multiple zippered pockets on the thighs, plus flap-secured cargo pockets with additional internal storage, and standard back pockets. The zippered thighs keep smaller items — mags, pens, a multi-tool — from falling out when you drop. The flap pockets are generous enough for gas mags or a first-aid pouch if that's your thing. No proprietary clips or attachments — these are just well-placed pockets on a pair of pants that fit under or over a plate carrier.

What they're good for. These are standard-issue field pants for a reason. If you want a simple, durable pair of pants for skirmish, milsim, or just wearing to the range that can handle the abuse without looking like you're wearing a full combat loadout, these do the job well. They're not a platform for external gear attachments or MOLLE — they're pants with pockets, and that's exactly what most players need underneath their rest of their kit.

Size note. These run true to Lancer's size chart. If you're between sizes or plan to layer underneath regularly, sizing up is worth considering.
