Lancer Tactical's 50/50 ripstop pants hit a practical note. Cotton-poly blend means they don't feel like rain jackets when you're wearing them all day, and the ripstop weave is there so a brush with a branch doesn't turn into a hole. There are knee pockets for a set of EVA pads that snap in — nothing fancy, but fine for normal play. They'll survive kneeling on dirt. On concrete you'll want better pads, but you'll know when.

EVA knee pads come in the box. They snap into the knee pockets and hold their place for normal skirmishing. Fine for kneel-work and crawling. Slide on concrete and upgrade to proper pads.

Enough pockets to skip extra pouches. Multiple zippered pockets keep small gear from falling out. Flap-secured pockets add a layer of security for bigger items. It's enough storage that you can leave the drop-bag at home.

Adjustments add up. Waist, knees, and hems all have points you can dial in. Relaxed cut, works over base layers without swallowing you. Medium fits a standard build without alteration.

The color is a muddy brown, not the pale beige some other brands use. Worth knowing if you've already got kit in a specific shade of tan.
