Lancer Tactical's take on the field pants problem is straightforward: get the fabric right, give you enough pockets, and bolt on knee pads that don't fall out. You don't get frills. What you do get is a pair of pants that'll take a beating on the field and still look passable afterward.
The fabric. 50/50 cotton-poly ripstop. Those thicker threads you can see crossing the material? They're there to stop a tear from spreading. Cotton keeps them comfortable against your skin. Polyester means faster drying and less shrinkage than all-cotton trousers.
Pockets. Combat pants need room for mags, a phone, gloves — whatever you actually carry during a game. Most pairs use a mix of zippered and flap pockets. Zippered options keep small stuff from falling out. Flap pockets let you dump gear in fast. Worth checking the pocket layout before you buy.
Knee pads. These come with EVA knee pads included. They're closed-cell foam — firm enough to actually protect your knees when you drop to the ground, not the thin inserts that go flat after one warm-up game. That alone saves you a separate purchase.
Who these are for. Skirmish players who want pants that work right out of the bag. The included pads are a nice touch for first-time buyers who don't need to source those separately. If you're running a full tactical rig with individual pouches and armor, the pocket layout might feel sparse compared to dedicated combat pants. But that's loadout preference, not a quality issue. They're not the softest pants ever made, but they're not stiff either. A few washes and they're good.
Includes a set of EVA knee pads.
