The combat shirt solves a real problem with a simple idea: tactical gear and comfort don't usually share the same room, so the shirt splits the difference at the shoulders. The torso panel stretches and breathes under a plate carrier or chest rig, while the sleeves are heavy enough to take abrasion from gear, brush, and the ground.

The torso is 92% cotton with 8% spandex knitted into a stretch fabric. It moves with you instead of riding up or pinching when you reach or crawl. The sleeves trade stretch for toughness — 50/50 cotton-polyester ripstop woven tight enough to resist wear. The ripstop weave means if the fabric gets snagged, the tear stops at the grid lines rather than running. That's the entire concept, and it works.
