Combat shirts are a practical solution to an everyday problem: cotton is comfortable until it's soaked through, and technical synthetics can be too thin or hot when you're running full kit. The Lancer Tactical combat shirt splits the difference — stretch cotton on the torso for comfort and breathability, durable ripstop on the sleeves for abrasion resistance and a bit of weather protection.
What's on the torso. The body is 92% cotton with 8% spandex. That stretch is the whole point: it moves with you when you reach, drop to a knee, or haul gear, and it doesn't bag out at the elbows the way a plain cotton tee does. Cotton against the skin also breathes better than a full-poly build on a hot skirmish day.
Sleeves that last. The sleeves are a 50/50 cotton-poly ripstop, which adds water resistance and colorfastness over pure cotton — you won't be tracking mud streaks across the front after a game in damp grass. Ripstop weave also means that if the fabric catches on a branch or a rifle handguard, a tear is less likely to spread.
Fits like what it is. This is a combat shirt, not a uniform shirt. It's designed to run snug as a base layer under a plate carrier or vest. If you're wearing it on its own or want room for layers underneath, size up. This variant is Ranger Green.
One shirt. Not a vest, not a uniform shirt, not a jacket. It's the layer underneath.
