How do you get an AK-style rifle with a steel receiver into a backpack? The LCT ZP-19-01 does it with a folding stock and a compact profile while keeping the look and heft of a real PP-19 Vityaz.

How the fold works. The stock is a hinged metal design that folds to the left side. A detent holds it in place during carry, and a lever extends it back into position for normal use. Folded length is about 18.5 inches. Extended it runs 26.25 inches. That makes this one of the most compact AK-platform AEGs you can buy, and genuinely portable for travel or vehicle storage.

What's inside the receiver. Under the metal furniture is a Version 3 gearbox — the AK standard in airsoft. V3 shells have a quick-change spring, so swapping springs for different field limits happens through the back of the gearbox without splitting the casing. A detail that matters far more on a compact rifle than on a full-size one, where you're more likely to tune once and forget. LCT rates this for 11.1V LiPO use.

It's heavy, and you'll feel it. The receiver and gas tube are steel. The handguard is aluminum. At nearly eight pounds the ZP-19-01 is a full-metal carbine that carries like one — not something you'd call light. That weight helps with recoil dampening and gives the gun a satisfying presence on the range. If weight is a concern, a polymer-receiver AK will be noticeably lighter, but you're trading feel for grams.

Externals. Quad RIS sections on the handguard, a full-length top Picatinny rail, and an AK-style side rail mount for optics. Ambidextrous sling loops on front and rear. The handguard and furniture match the steel-and-black aesthetic of the real PP-19. The 14mm CCW threaded barrel accepts standard muzzle devices and mock suppressors.

Magazines and the bundle. The rifle ships with two 50-round mid-cap magazines — not the kind of universal M4 or AK AEG mag you can grab at any shop. LCT mags work here, and third-party options exist but the pool is narrower than for mainstream platforms. If you're planning to play regularly, grab a few spares now while they're available. This bundle also includes a Lancer Tactical LiPO balance charger, a Golden Ball 3000-round BB bag, a Lancer Tactical 11.1V 900mAh 15C LiPO battery, and a Deans adapter — so you have everything needed to run the gun straight out of the box.
